We have been successfully developing and manufacturing electric and pneumatic vehicle door systems for over 30 years, and the success of recent years has validated our approach to business.

Our British subsidiary Schaltbau Transportation offers its customers refurbishment, servicing and maintenance for door systems and other on-board systems. In cooperation with our Poland-based subsidiary Schaltbau RAWAG we also provide windows for railway carriages, complete interiors and special structures such as train roofs.

Every day, we produce a multitude of vehicle door systems delivered ‘just-in- time’ to suit our customers schedule, placing highest demands on materials and the manufacturing process. To ensure efficient overall operation against constantly changing requirements, our production processes and IT structures are being optimized continuously. Our DIN-ISO 9001:2001 certification guarantees transparency and flexible production conditions.
With the introduction of SAP/R 3, inter-company just-in- time and KANBAN models, the use of preventive quality assurance methods like FMEA, reliability prognosis and life cycle cost (LCC) we on track for sustainable growth with consistently high-quality levels.
